Our Services: Yoga, Meditation and PiYo

Beginner Class

The beginner class focuses on teaching the benefits of Yoga as a practice. The class helps to build strength, flexibility and mental clarity. Through breathing techniques, meditation and simply moving our body, we help re-focus our minds, regain confidence in our bodies and reconnect to our souls. Beginner classes are usually offered in 4 week sessions at least once a month.

Intermediate Class

The intermediate class focuses on the next level the student wants to reach. Continued strength, flexibility, and mental focus but the most fundamental difference between beginner and intermediate yoga is the work on the core, both physically and mentally. There are morning and evening times available for this class.

Private sessions

Private sessions are very popular with small groups, sports teams, or corporations that have specific times and needs that need to be worked around. These sessions are customized to each groups needs and level of ability. Some may be more of an intermediate level focusing on core and strength, some may be focused on meditation and relaxation.

Once a month a meditation session is offered at Just Breathe Yoga and Wellness. This is a guided meditation focused on helping you reach a level of complete relaxation, mind, body and soul. Incorporating meditation into your routine can help you experience numerous benefits such as, reducing stress and anxiety, promote better sleep, enhance self- awareness, encourage mindfulness and support emotional balance just to name a few.

Meditation

Restorative Yoga

The purpose of restorative yoga is to “restore” the body’s parasympathetic nervous system, which in turn, helps the body rest, heal and restore balance. By allowing time for longer postures or poses and deeper breathing, restorative yoga helps elicit the relaxation response. This type of session is excellent for post surgery, stiffness, and just starting to get your body moving again. These sessions can be either private or with a group.

PiYo

PiYo is the fusion of Pilates and Yoga. It combines the core building elements of Pilates, and the balance flexibility aspects of Yoga. This is a fast paced class, full of energy in a fun atmosphere.
